Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V may have been the most heavily anticipated album of 2018. It didn’t get the official title of most anticipated because its release was uncertain. Fans grew to believe Tha Carter V would end up like Detox, just a piece of hip-hop history that would never see the light of day. Things worked out for Tunechi and his squadron of fans though when the project was finally set free.
